Magaluf is 27 km by road from the airport that reaches it. Dashes join an airport to what it reaches, and are not the road. Outlines from Natural Earth; coordinates from OpenStreetMap.

Magaluf is 27 km from Palma airport, twenty-five to thirty minutes once the road is past the city. The regulated taxi works out at 37 to 46 EUR for the vehicle, and the A11 airport coach calls here, which makes this one of the few resorts on the island reachable from the aircraft without a change.

Which transfer should you choose?

Magaluf is two kilometres beyond Palma Nova on the same coach and the same road, and the fare difference between the two is about three euros. If you are weighing the two resorts on transfer cost, do not: the meter will not notice. What does move the fare is the day. Palma's second band covers all of Saturday and Sunday as well as weekday nights, and on this distance that is nine euros.

Taxi

Thirty-seven euros for the vehicle is a little over nine each at four, door to door, with no walk at either end.

Bus

The A11 calls at Magaluf and boards at the arrivals level. It is a real airport coach, not an intercity line that happens to pass, and it is the cheapest way into this resort by a wide margin.

Taxi

The rank is worked from the same arrivals level all night. The night band puts the fare near the top of the range, but it is the only option that does not require a timetable.

Yes

A private transfer is arranged in advance and the driver meets you in arrivals with your name on a board. Priced at 85.75 EUR for the vehicle, as recently checked at Viator on 11 September 2026. Against a regulated taxi of 37 to 46 EUR for the same journey that is roughly double, so it is buying a fixed price agreed before you fly rather than a cheaper ride. Until 11 September this page said one product described exactly this journey and had been rejected because nothing on it carried an airport pickup, only the words in its title. That was true and is no longer the whole picture: its start description places the driver in the arrivals hall, which is a statement about the pickup rather than a title, and the rule now reads it.

The rank is at Terminal floor 0, arrivals, and the airport operator says plainly to use the signed rank rather than anyone offering a service elsewhere. Magaluf sits two kilometres beyond Palma Nova on the same road, which is worth about three euros on the meter. The day you land is worth three times that. Palma's second band is unusually wide for a regulated tariff, covering all of Saturday and Sunday as well as weekday nights, and on twenty-seven kilometres it moves the fare by nine euros. If your flight lands on a Saturday afternoon you are on the night rate.

How the fare is set
Regulated fares set by the Ajuntament de Palma. Two bands: laborable, Monday to Friday 07:00 to 21:00, at 2.50 EUR flag drop plus 1.20 EUR per kilometre; and festivo or nocturno, covering weekday nights from 21:00 to 07:00 and the whole of Saturdays, Sundays and official holidays, at 2.85 EUR plus 1.35 EUR. A 4.65 EUR airport and port supplement is charged, and a minimum fare of 16.95 EUR applies to journeys from the airport. Parties of five or six pay a further 3.00 EUR and parties of seven or eight 6.00 EUR, neither of which is included below. A 4.75 EUR supplement applies over Christmas and New Year.

Magaluf is on line A11 and, coming from the airport, it is the stop after Palmanova. That is a genuine airport coach rather than an intercity route that happens to pass, and it is the cheapest way into this resort by a wide margin whatever the zone fare works out at. The fare itself is not something we can quote: TIB prices intercity journeys by zone hops and publishes no per-route figure. Nor can we give departure times, because the current timetable is a raster PDF. The operator's own pages carry both and are linked below.

Going back: Magaluf to Palma Airport

  • The road

27 km, 25–30 min. Measured on the road, so unchanged either way.

  • The taxi

Same Ajuntament de Palma rates per kilometre. What we cannot carry over is the €4.65 airport supplement, which our figure records for a journey that starts at the terminal; nothing we hold says how it is treated on one that ends there. Without it: €32 by day, €41 at night and on Sundays. A floor, not an answer.

  • Where the coach leaves from

TIB (Aerotib) sets down at Magaluf. That is where you board going back.

Departure times from Magaluf are not verified. The times on this page are departures from the airport, and reading them backwards would invent a timetable.

How we worked out the taxi fare

What the regulated fare is made of

A taxi from this airport does not run on a meter. The fare follows a schedule published by the Ajuntament de Palma, so it can be worked out in advance rather than quoted. These are the maximums that schedule allows over the measured distance, not a price anyone has offered you.
