What we do not ask you for

TransferSelect has no accounts, no registration, no login, no newsletter signup, no comments, no user reviews, no booking form, no checkout and no payment collection. Nothing on this site asks who you are in order to let you read it.

There are two forms. The transfer search on the home page contains two dropdown lists of airports and destinations, and choosing from them simply moves you to the matching page on this site: nothing is submitted anywhere and nothing about your selection is recorded.

The contact form asks for a name, an email address and a message, and it is the only place on the site where you can type anything about yourself. It is entirely optional: you reach it only by going to the contact page, and nothing else on the site depends on it. What you send is described below.

What happens to a message you send us

A submitted contact form is emailed to us and is not written to any database, because the site has none. We use your address to reply and for nothing else: no mailing list, no marketing, no passing it to any transfer provider or other third party. The form posts to our own server, so no external form service or captcha provider sees what you wrote.

Your message reaches us as email and is kept in that inbox, so in practice it stays until it is deleted. To limit automated abuse, the server records the IP address a submission came from: it is included in the email and held for up to an hour in a counter that limits repeated submissions from the same address. Ask us to delete a message you sent and we will.

Analytics

TransferSelect uses Google Analytics 4. It loads on every page, from Google's servers, and it starts working when the page does. This page said the opposite until 19 August 2026, when analytics was switched on; it is written to describe the site as it is now.

What it records about a visit:

• the pages you look at, in what order, and how long the visit lasts;
• where you arrived from, which is usually a search engine or another site;
• approximate location, derived from your IP address and no more precise than a city;
• device, browser and screen size;
• when you follow a link to a transfer provider: which route, which provider, which method and which part of the page the link sat in. Never the address you were sent to, and never anything that identifies you.

Google is the processor of that data and it is handled outside the EU under Google's own terms. Your IP address is used by Google to derive the approximate location and is not retained by us; we never see it in the reports. We do not link analytics data to anything else, because there is nothing to link it to: no accounts, no database, no profiles.

It is switched on without asking you, and there is no consent banner. That is a deliberate decision by the site's owner rather than an oversight, and it is stated here so it is not a surprise. If you would rather not be counted, any of these works: a browser that blocks trackers, an ad or tracker blocking extension, or Google's own opt-out add-on. The site works identically either way, because nothing on it depends on analytics.

Cookies and browser storage

Google Analytics places cookies in your browser to recognise a returning visit and to tell one session from the next. They are the only cookies this site is responsible for: TransferSelect itself uses no local storage, no session storage, no indexed databases, no service workers and no advertising pixels. There is no consent banner, so those cookies are placed on arrival. The cookie policy names them, says how long they last, and covers what happens on external sites.

Technical information from serving the site

When any website is served, the hosting infrastructure records standard technical request information. For this site that means your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, the URL requested, the time of the request and the referring page where one is sent. This is ordinary to how the web works, and it is used for operating the service, for security and for troubleshooting rather than for building a profile of you.

These access logs are kept for 14 days and are then deleted. They are not combined with anything else, not used for advertising, and not built into a marketing database.

One image loaded from an external host

One route page shows a product photograph supplied by a transfer provider. That image is served from an external host, media-cdn.tripadvisor.com, rather than from this site.

The image is lazy-loaded, so your browser only requests it if you scroll far enough for it to become visible. When that request happens, standard request information such as your IP address and user-agent is visible to that external host, as it would be for any resource loaded from another domain. What that host does with the request is governed by its own policies and is not something we control or can describe on its behalf. It is not an analytics provider for this site, and we receive nothing from it.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links. The provider with an active affiliate relationship is Viator, for private airport transfer products.

These are ordinary links. Following one takes you to the provider's own website, and from that moment you are on their site under their privacy and cookie policies rather than ours. The link includes parameters in its address that let the provider recognise the referral. We do not place anything in your browser before you leave, and we do not receive personal information about you from the provider. See affiliate disclosure and how we make money.

Links to sources and other external sites

Route pages link out to the sources behind our facts: airport operators, transport operators, public authorities and routing services. Those are independent websites with their own privacy practices, and we do not control them. The same applies to any other external link on this site.

Sharing and selling information

TransferSelect does not operate a user database, so there is no visitor database to share or sell. We do not sell visitor information to advertisers, and the site does not run advertising trackers or profiling scripts.

We cannot make statements about how independent websites behave once you visit them, and this page does not attempt to.

Your choices

Because the site collects so little, the practical controls are straightforward. You decide whether to follow an external link, and where you go afterwards is governed by that site's own policies. Your browser's privacy settings let you control cookies and site storage generally, including for the external hosts described above, and most browsers can block third-party images or requests if you prefer.

Depending on where you live and how information is processed, applicable privacy law may provide you with rights concerning personal information. We are not describing a request procedure for a user database here, because no such database exists.

Changes to this page

This page describes how the site works today, and the date at the top is when it was last reviewed. If the site starts using analytics, storage, forms or anything else that changes what is described here, this page will be updated to match before that happens.
