The far end of a small island

Corfu is sixty kilometres long and Kavos is at the bottom of it, past Lefkimmi and the salt flats. Forty-six kilometres does not sound far until you notice it is most of the island's length on a road that is single carriageway for the second half. It is the only destination here that is further from the airport than the northern resorts, and by ten kilometres.

Why this page shows no price

One operator sells a Kavos transfer. Its booking data does not place the driver in arrivals: no pickup point typed as an airport, no approved reference, and no start description that says so. The same operator's four other Corfu products all carry that evidence and all are used on this site. The rule is applied to the product rather than to the supplier, and a title saying "Corfu Airport To Kavos" is not itself proof of where a driver meets you.

What we will not do to fill the gap

The northern resorts are 89 to 99 euros for a vehicle at thirty-seven to thirty-eight kilometres, and Kavos is forty-six. Extrapolating would produce a plausible number in about four seconds and it would be our number rather than anybody's price. The distance and the driving time on this page are measured; the fare is absent because it could not be attributed.

Frequently asked questions

Which airport serves Kavos?

Corfu (CFU), 46 km north. It is the island's only airport.

Forty-five minutes to an hour, south down almost the whole length of the island.

Why is there no price on this page?

The one product that sells the route does not evidence an airport pickup, so its price cannot be attributed to this journey.
