Javea sits 100 km up the coast from Alicante-Elche and about 125 from Valencia, and it is the one destination on this site where that second figure is worth taking seriously. The one route where a second airport competes
Alicante-Elche is 100 km away and Valencia about 125, a difference of roughly half an hour. Everywhere else on this coast the alternative is twice the drive or worse, and the answer is obvious before you start. Here it is a genuine comparison: if a fare into Valencia is meaningfully lower, price the transfer on both sides before deciding. Region de Murcia, at around 190 km, is not in that conversation. We cover transfers from Alicante only.
Javea is three places
The old town sits inland, the port is on the water to the north, and the Arenal runs along the beach to the south, each a couple of kilometres from the others. That is not a detail: our two routing engines agree to within 40 metres on the drive to the Arenal and differ by about three kilometres on the approaches to the other two, which is the town's shape showing up in the measurement. Give a driver the part, not just the name.
What the journey costs
The regulated taxi maximum works out at 139 to 169 EUR for the vehicle, the highest on this site, which is simply what a hundred kilometres costs on a published per-kilometre tariff. An ALSA coach runs from the airport with Javea as its named destination; we have verified that it exists and where it boards, and not its fare or its timetable, so we do not print either.
