The last eight kilometres are the slow ones
Our two engines put the whole drive at about sixty-three and a half kilometres and just over an hour. What the average hides is the shape: the expressway section runs at expressway speed and the hill road above the gulf does not, so the final eight kilometres take roughly as long as fifteen of what came before them.
