Two roads and four minutes
Our engines returned 86.43 and 99.52 kilometres, thirteen apart: one crosses into France at once and climbs the Arve valley, the other stays on the Swiss motorway before turning south. Their times differ by four minutes, so the longer road is the quicker one. Both are used.
Transfer day is the real variable
Every figure here is free-flow. This is a ski road, and on changeover Saturday through the winter the Arve valley queues in a way no routing engine models. If your flight lands midday on a Saturday, plan for the estimate to be optimistic.
