Geneva Airport (GVA)
Chamonix

Chamonix is about 93 km from Geneva airport, seventy to eighty minutes, and the journey crosses into France within a few kilometres of leaving. A four-seat sedan is 150 EUR; a six-seater on the same route is 650 to 850 Swiss francs, which is the spread this whole cluster has.

Two things decide this drive and neither is the distance. The first is the road: our engines returned 86.43 and 99.52 kilometres, thirteen apart, because one crosses into France almost at once and climbs the Arve valley while the other stays on the Swiss motorway before turning south. Their times are four minutes apart, so the longer road is the faster one. The second is the day. This is a ski transfer, and on a Saturday in February the queue up the Arve valley is worth more than any free-flow estimate on this page.
Private transfer
The sedan at 150 EUR is the cheapest figure here and the tightest. Four people with skis is usually a minibus job, which is what the CHF range buys.
Private transfer
Every figure on this page is free-flow. Transfer day on the Arve valley road is the one time of the week when that qualification does most of the work.
Private transfer
Some suppliers here price in euros and some in Swiss francs, because the airport straddles the border. We publish each as quoted rather than converting.

A private transfer is arranged before you fly and the driver meets you in arrivals with your name on a board. Geneva has one main passenger terminal. Priced at 150 EUR for a four-seat sedan, as recently checked at Viator on 11 September 2026, with a six-seater from the same search at 650 to 850 CHF. Those are not competing quotes for the same thing: one is a car and one is a minibus, and on an alpine road in winter that difference is chains, luggage space and a driver who does the run daily. Two further products sell this journey and publish no basis our check can resolve.

About 93 km. OSRM returned 86.43 km by the valley and Valhalla 99.52 by the motorway, and the longer one is four minutes quicker.
150 EUR for a four-seat sedan, or 650 to 850 CHF for a six-seater, recently checked at Viator rather than quoted live.
Because Geneva airport straddles the French-Swiss border and its suppliers list in both. We publish the figure as quoted.
Seventy to eighty minutes without traffic. On a winter Saturday allow considerably more.
Every figure on this page is checked against a named source and dated. We do not publish a number we cannot point at.
