Which airport, and what the journey costs
Airports for Alcudia
Alcudia sits at the north-east corner of Mallorca and Palma airport at the south-west, which makes this a crossing of the island rather than a run along a coast: 59 km, forty-five to fifty-five minutes. There is no second airport to weigh, because Mallorca has one.

One island, one airport
Mallorca has a single airport handling scheduled flights, so the question this page answers everywhere else does not really arise here. What replaces it is the length of the transfer: Alcudia is as far from the terminal as anywhere on the island a visitor is likely to stay, and the drive crosses the middle rather than following the sea.
The old town and the port are not the same place
Alcudia's walled old town is a couple of kilometres inland of Port d'Alcudia on the bay. We measured both: 57.99 and 60.42 kilometres to the old town by our two routing engines, 58.94 and 61.45 to the port. Both engines put the port about a kilometre further, consistently, so the difference is real rather than noise, and the address you give a driver is worth getting right.
What the journey costs
The regulated taxi works out at 76 to 91 EUR for the vehicle, which includes the 4.65 EUR supplement the Ajuntament de Palma charges on journeys from the airport. There is no toll road anywhere on Mallorca. Line A32 runs from the airport to Can Picafort and calls at Alcudia on the way, and line A33 links Port d'Alcudia to the airport by way of Inca, so there is a direct coach. The fare is charged by zone hops rather than a per-route price and the timetable is published as a seasonal PDF, so we print neither figure here.
Frequently asked questions
Which airport should I fly into for Alcudia?
Palma, at 59 km. It is the only airport on Mallorca with scheduled flights, so there is nothing to compare it against.
How far is Alcudia from Palma Airport?
About 59 km, a crossing from the south-west corner of the island to the north-east bay, and forty-five to fifty-five minutes of free-flowing road.
Is Port d'Alcudia the same as Alcudia?
Not for a transfer. The walled old town is a couple of kilometres inland of the port on the bay, and both our routing engines put the port about a kilometre further from the airport.
Is there a toll road on Mallorca?
No. Nothing is added to a taxi meter for the road itself anywhere on the island.
