Alcudia is 59 km from Palma airport, on the opposite corner of Mallorca: forty-five to fifty-five minutes across the island rather than along a coast. The regulated taxi comes to 76 to 91 EUR for the vehicle, which includes the 4.65 EUR airport supplement the Ajuntament de Palma charges on every journey from the terminal. There is no toll road anywhere on the island.

Which transfer should you choose?

This is the longest of the Mallorca routes we cover and the one where the per-vehicle fare matters most. Palma's tariff is charged for the car, so a party of four splits 76 EUR four ways; a party of five pays a further 3.00 EUR and a party of seven a further 6.00, which are still small beside the fare itself. What we cannot yet weigh against it is a coach fare, because the airport's own list names four intercity routes and none of them is named for Alcudia.

There are four or more of you

Taxi

The regulated fare is for the vehicle. At 76 EUR in the weekday band split four ways it is nineteen euros a head for a fifty-nine kilometre door-to-door crossing of the island, and the supplement for a fifth or sixth passenger is three euros rather than another fare.

The festivo and night band covers all day Saturday and Sunday as well as weekday nights, which is a wider window than most tariffs on this site use. On this distance it is about fifteen euros more. It is worth knowing rather than worth avoiding: there is no cheaper verified alternative to fall back on.

Bus

The A32 stops at Alcudia and runs from the arrivals level, so there is no change to make. That beats paying for three empty seats across the island. Check the fare on the operator's zone calculator and the times on the line's own timetable.

A private transfer is arranged in advance and the driver meets you in arrivals. Across an hour of island road, with a party of four or more and luggage, that is the case at its strongest. We do not show a bookable transfer for this route. Every product the search returned was rejected, and the reason is the same across Mallorca: the suppliers here meet travellers at a start point rather than carrying a pickup location the provider itself marks as an airport, and that start point is an opaque reference we cannot resolve to a place with the access we have. Approving one on the strength of its title is the one thing our origin rule exists to refuse. This is not a route without transfers; it is a route where we cannot yet show that a transfer starts where it says it does.

The rank is at Terminal floor 0, arrivals, and the airport operator is unusually blunt about it: take a taxi from the signed rank and avoid drivers offering a service from anywhere else. The fare is regulated by the Ajuntament de Palma in two bands. Laborable, Monday to Friday 07:00 to 21:00, is 2.50 EUR to start plus 1.20 EUR a kilometre. The festivo and night band, covering weekday nights from 21:00 and the whole of Saturdays, Sundays and official holidays, is 2.85 plus 1.35. A 4.65 EUR airport supplement is added either way, and a 16.95 EUR minimum applies to journeys from the airport, though over fifty-nine kilometres it never comes close to binding. Parties of five or six pay 3.00 EUR more and of seven or eight 6.00; neither is in the figures above.

Line A32 runs from this airport to Can Picafort, and the island transport authority's own list of its calls puts Alcudia on it, along with Port d'Alcudia, Platja d'Alcudia and Platja de Muro. A second line, A33, runs Port d'Alcudia to the airport by way of Sa Pobla and Inca. There is a direct coach and no change to make. Until 10 September 2026 this page said the opposite: that the nearest named route ended at Can Picafort a few kilometres away, which was suggestive and not the same as a stop. That was our reading of the airport's page, which lists the lines without their calls; the operator's own page lists the calls. The fare is the one thing still missing, and it is missing by design rather than by omission: TIB prices these journeys by zone hops, so there is no per-route figure to quote. The departure times are published per season as a scanned timetable we could not read.

Going back: Alcudia to Palma Airport

  • The road

59 km, 45–55 min. Measured on the road, so unchanged either way.

  • The taxi

Same Ajuntament de Palma rates per kilometre. What we cannot carry over is the €4.65 airport supplement, which our figure records for a journey that starts at the terminal; nothing we hold says how it is treated on one that ends there. Without it: €72 by day, €86 at night and on Sundays. A floor, not an answer.

  • Where the coach leaves from

TIB (Aerotib) sets down at Alcudia. That is where you board going back.

Departure times from Alcudia are not verified. The times on this page are departures from the airport, and reading them backwards would invent a timetable.

How we worked out the taxi fare

What the regulated fare is made of

A taxi from this airport does not run on a meter. The fare follows a schedule published by the Ajuntament de Palma, so it can be worked out in advance rather than quoted. These are the maximums that schedule allows over the measured distance, not a price anyone has offered you.

Frequently asked questions

How far is Alcudia from Palma Airport?

About 59 km, a crossing from the south-west corner of Mallorca to the north-east bay. Two routing engines returned 57.99 and 60.42 kilometres to the old town, and 58.94 and 61.45 to Port d'Alcudia two kilometres further on.

How much is a taxi from Palma Airport to Alcudia?

About 76 to 91 EUR for the vehicle, not per person. That is the regulated tariff worked over the measured distance, including the 4.65 EUR airport supplement, with the upper figure applying at night, at weekends and on official holidays. Parties of five or more pay a further 3.00 or 6.00 EUR.

Is there an airport supplement on a Palma taxi?

Yes, 4.65 EUR, and the city also sets a 16.95 EUR minimum fare for journeys from the airport. Over fifty-nine kilometres the minimum is irrelevant, but it is what makes a short hop from this airport cost more than the distance suggests.

Is there a bus from Palma Airport to Alcudia?

Coaches run from the airport to this coast but we cannot tell you which. The airport operator names four Aerotib intercity routes on the page we could read and none is named for Alcudia; the nearest, the A32, ends at Can Picafort on the same bay. We do not print a stop, a fare or a timetable we have not read in a source.

Is there a toll road?

No. Mallorca has no toll roads, so nothing is added to the meter for the road itself on any route on this island.

How do I get from Alcudia back to Palma Airport?

The same distance and the same road. The tariff per kilometre is identical in both directions; what we cannot say is whether the 4.65 EUR supplement, which the city lists for airports and ports, is charged on a journey ending at the terminal as well as one starting there.
