Amalfi

Amalfi is about 70 km from Naples airport, sixty-five to eighty minutes. A private transfer runs 180 to 330 EUR for the vehicle, up to eight people. This is the one route in the cluster where our two routing engines disagree by nine kilometres, and the reason is worth reading before you book.

OSRM measured 65.21 km and Valhalla 74.24. They are not disagreeing about the same road: one drops over the mountains by the Valico di Chiunzi above Angri, the other goes round the peninsula through Sorrento and along the coast. Both are real and drivers use both. The mountain road is shorter and usually quicker; the coast road is the one people picture. If which of them you take matters to you, it is worth saying so when you book, because the price does not distinguish them.
Private transfer
180 EUR across eight is 22.50 each, the lowest per-head figure on any route in this cluster.
Private transfer
Say so at booking. The two roads differ by nine kilometres and by an entirely different hour, and nothing in the price tells the driver which one you meant.
Private transfer
Ninety each at the lower end. Amalfi is the one destination here where the cheaper vehicle option is genuinely cheap, so it is worth checking what is available for your date.

A private transfer is arranged before you fly and the driver meets you inside arrivals with your name on a board. Naples has one passenger terminal, so there is no question of which building. Priced at 180 to 330 EUR for the vehicle, up to eight passengers, as recently checked at Viator on 10 September 2026, and declared as a unit price rather than a per-person one. The lower figure moves with the season rather than with the number of passengers: the same vehicle option is published at 150, 160 and 180 EUR across three periods, and the higher figure is a larger vehicle.

A private transfer to Amalfi is arranged in advance and the driver meets you in arrivals. Prices move, so the link opens the current ones at Viator.
About 70 km, and the figure is unusually uncertain: one engine returned 65.21 km over the mountain pass at Chiunzi, the other 74.24 km round the peninsula and along the coast. Both roads are used.
180 to 330 EUR for the vehicle, up to eight people, recently checked at Viator rather than quoted live.
By season and by vehicle, not by passenger. The same option is published at 150, 160 and 180 EUR across three periods; 330 is a larger vehicle.
Sixty-five to eighty minutes without traffic, and which road the driver takes affects that as much as the traffic does.
The mountain road is shorter and usually faster. The coast road is the Amalfi Drive. Neither is priced differently, so it is a question to raise when you book.
