Which airport, and what the journey costs

Airports for Tulum

Tulum is 118 km from Cancun airport, ninety minutes to an hour and three quarters. It is the longest transfer this site covers, and the cheapest headline price on the route is not what it looks like.

The cheapest listing is three journeys

The best-reviewed product here sells "Cancun Airport to Cancun, Playa or Tulum" at 55 to 319 USD. Those are nineteen, fifty-four and a hundred and eighteen kilometres, which is why the range is six-fold. The 55 is almost certainly the shortest of the three and it is not this journey. We do not show it, for the same reason the Algarve pages do not show a transfer sold to Portimao or Lagos.

A hundred and eighteen kilometres with no railway

Highway 307 runs the whole way and there is no rail on this coast. The ADO coach and the shuttle vans are genuine alternatives at this distance in a way they are not at Puerto Morelos, and a page about transfers should say so rather than pretend.

What the journey costs

220 USD for the vehicle up to eight, or 179 to 229 from a second supplier, checked at Viator on 11 September 2026. Across eight that is 27.50 each.
