No airport line reaches it

Seven Aerotib lines call at Palma airport: A11 to the Calvia coast, A32 and A33 to the Alcudia bay, A42 to the east coast, A43 to Manacor and A51 to Campos. None goes to Pollensa. The 301 links Port de Pollenca to Palma by way of Pollensa town, Sa Pobla and Inca, but it ends in the city rather than at the airport, so a bus journey from the aircraft means at least one change. That comes from the operator's own complete list, not from an absence of research.

Puerto Pollensa is not Pollensa

The two are about six kilometres apart and the names are used loosely. Pollensa is the inland town; Puerto Pollensa, or Port de Pollenca in Catalan, is the resort on the bay. Search data treats them as one destination and they are not, which matters when a driver asks where you are going.

What the journey costs

84 to 98 EUR by regulated taxi for the vehicle, including the 4.65 EUR airport supplement. The fourteen-euro gap between the weekday and the weekend band is the widest on any route from this airport, because over sixty-five kilometres the per-kilometre rate is nearly the whole fare.
