Ten kilometres past the resort you have heard of

The road to Protaras is the road to Ayia Napa plus a short run north on the E324. That geography shows up in the prices with unusual consistency: every operator that sells both charges roughly ten euros more for Protaras, which is about what ten kilometres and ten minutes are worth to a driver.

Two prices for the same run, fifteen euros apart

One supplier charges 80 euros for a vehicle carrying up to four; another charges 95 for up to three. Neither is a bargain against the other once you count the seats, and the useful thing is that two independent operators put the journey in the same bracket. On the routes where only one supplier lists a destination, this site says so, because a single figure can look like a market rate when it is only a quote.

The coast road is where the estimates part

The engines agree on the distance to fifty metres and differ by seven and a half minutes on the time. The motorway portion is not in dispute; the disagreement is concentrated in the last three kilometres along the coast, which is a two-lane road through a resort strip and behaves differently in July than the model assumes.
