Fifty kilometres, and an hour to do it

Both our routing engines put this at about fifty-one kilometres and about sixty-six minutes, which is under fifty kilometres an hour on a free road. That is the road itself rather than traffic, and it is worth knowing before you plan the first evening.

The village itself has no cars in it

Lindos is built up a hillside under an acropolis and its lanes are too narrow for vehicles. A transfer ends at the car park above or below the village, not at the door, and the last stretch is on foot or by donkey. No operator pretends otherwise and neither does this page.
