Como the city is not Lake Como

The lake is forty-six kilometres long and the city sits at the foot of it. Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio are each about an hour further on by a shore road that is slow by design. Search data treats the two as one destination; transfer suppliers do not, and neither does this page.

A motorway the whole way

Our two routing engines returned 51.36 and 50.96 kilometres and agreed on the time to within ninety seconds, which is what the A8 and A9 do to two speed models. The route is tolled and a fixed transfer price includes it.

What the journey costs

170 to 230 EUR for the vehicle, up to three people, checked at Viator on 11 September 2026. A second product sells Como and Cernobbio together at 185 to 370 and is not shown here, because Cernobbio is a separate village up the west shore.
